"A Missionary Gift"

In August, my son Caleb had the wonderful opportunity to attend the sealing of a family that he and Elder Henderson had the blessing of baptizing.  Elder Henderson's mom was able to go back to Texas with her son and enjoy that amazing day.  She had wanted to take a gift for the Segura family, and when she found out that the family had a picture of the temple with Elder Shepherd and Elder Henderson's picture on it, she knew she had to find a picture to give to them.  It so happens that she knew a wonderful artist, Jean Keaton, who does amazing pencil art of the Savior. She is well known for her artwork that includes drawings of those who have passed on, with the Savior.  She agreed to do a drawing of Elder Henderson and Elder Shepherd to give to the Seguras.  She had never done a missionary drawing before, so she was happy to do this.  Well, we gave her a couple of pictures of Caleb so she could use that as a model.  Without ever seeing Caleb, I am amazed at how exact it turned out down to the dimple in his face and the way his hands look!  She said she didn't have time to finish the whole picture, but I can't imagine what else would be necessary since what she gave us was amazing!  Caleb has loved this family so much.  He was so happy to help present the picture to the Segura's on their special day at the temple.  I am so happy that he has had the joy of seeing the fruits of his labors bless the lives of people that he has grown to love so much!
